Skate Anytime makes year-round skating possible wherever people want to practice, play, train or create a skating experience. Our synthetic ice systems serve everyone from hockey players and families building a rink at home to training facilities, schools, municipalities, hotels, event rental companies and other commercial organizations creating larger skating destinations.

Our story began with a simple problem: our own children wanted more ice time. Traditional ice was limited by schedules, availability and cost, so we set out to create another way to skate. That pursuit led to Skate Anytime and our Ice-Lock synthetic ice system—a modular skating surface designed to bring the experience of skating beyond the traditional ice rink.

From Home Training Rinks to Commercial Skating Destinations

Today, Skate Anytime synthetic ice is used for much more than hockey practice. Our panels can create home training rinks, recreational skating areas, hockey and goalie training surfaces, figure skating practice areas, municipal and community rinks, school installations, hospitality attractions, and portable rinks for party and event rental companies.

Because synthetic ice does not require refrigeration, chillers or freezing temperatures, a skating rink can be installed in places where conventional ice may be impractical. Indoor or outdoor, permanent or portable, compact training area or large community rink—the modular system allows customers to create a skating surface around their available space and intended use.

A Rink That Can Grow With You

Skate Anytime rinks are built around a modular panel system, giving customers the flexibility to start with the rink that makes sense today and expand or reconfigure it as their needs change.

For a family, that could mean starting with a home hockey training area and adding panels later. For a commercial customer, it could mean designing a larger rink around expected skating capacity, available space, portability, programming and future growth.

Our goal isn’t simply to sell panels. It’s to help each customer create the right skating solution for how and where they intend to use it.
